Seeing God everyday

I'm listening to a set of CD's my friend Mike made for me from the audiobook "God's Politics" by Jim Wallis It takes me 30 min to drive to work and 30 min to drive home so I've been able to get through these quickly and I've enjoyed listening to them Yesterday he switched from the Iraqui war to poverty and there was a story about a woman named Mary Glover that stuck with me Mary is a self appointed missionary and volunteer in the food line Mary said their prayer before they opened their doors She was the best pray-er "Mary was one of those people who pray like they know to whom they're talking You got the sense that she'd been carrying on a running conversation with her Lord for a very long time." This is what Mary always prayed...

"Lord,we know that you'll be comin' through this line today, so Lord, help us to treat you well."

Mary understands Matthew 25 and she lives it..that's my goal..to have a heart like Mary

"Come you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me." Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food,or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you? And the king will answer them "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me " Matthew 25:34-40
