Don't do it yourself

The quality of a life of purpose is measured not by the number of tasks accomplished, but with who were they were accomplished and the learning that went on in the process.

It's all about building relationships. Sometimes we're in such a hurry to get things done that we fail to see the true reward..it's not the end result it's the relationships and bonds that you build in getting to that end result
I know as a parent and even as a nurse that sometimes it's easier to do it yourself but just know that sometimes you cheat yourself out of the true reward

Every summer I spent 2 weeks at my grandmothers house She was a wonderful seamstress
We would pick out a project to sew and she would sit right beside me and help me I know there had to be many times when she wanted to do it for me but I would have never learned and we wouldn't have developed that special bond

Wow, between your comments and the book I'm reading right now (Authentic Faith), God is really convicting me on this. There are so many things to do in a week, but if I'm not building relationships with people at church and getting to know them and being a shepherd, there's no reason to do all the other things.
