A Sunday of Worship and a DEPRESSING movie

We went to hear Kristen and Lee Campus Choir sing this morning in Cincinnati. They did an amazing job as usual. The pictures above show the whole choir, Kristen worshiping, and Kristen and her grandparents.
We also got to meet Rachel, the girl Zach is dating, and she is adorable.

This afternoon Darrell and I went to a matinée. It was between Gran Torino and Revolutionary Road. We picked Revolutionary Road. We should have picked Gran Torino.
Not that it wasn't a good movie. It's got amazing acting by Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio but it is the MOST DEPRESSING movie!! I think we'll try a comedy the next time :)

It's about a couple in the 1950's who live in suburbia with 2 kids but are dissatisfied with their lives. They decide they are going to sell everything and go to Paris..she'll work and he will study/figure out what he wants to do with his life because he's unhappy in his job. She is an unhappy housewife. Things start to fall apart with their plan..he gets a promotion, she gets pregnant and their marriage totally falls apart.
There are affairs in there. I won't tell the ending but it's very very sad and depressing. I think the saddest thing is that there are probably people in marriages today who totally relate to what these 2 people are feeling.
