Enter the Worship Circle

I'm reading a book right now called "Enter the Worhip Circle" by Ben Pasley It's not your typical book ..most Relevant books aren't I've found :) Anyway this book makes you think outside the box.. outside what most people find in their "church experience" He deals with worship and spirituality in a very different way It's creative at it's best and it's out of the ordinary..I like it alot

This is one of the quotes from thoughts on wonder..

"Religion, however, is the work of trying to escape the "not knowing" by placing quantity, ritual, and form to the mysteries and then marketing the package to others. We have been driven to the inventions of religion, and subsequently we are driven away from religion, by the same internal conviction that whatever is most worthwhile is ultimately beyond us. It can't be packaged. Like children, we are obsessed with what we do not have, and we are driven by what we have yet to fully possess. Religion has attempted to help humanity understand the spiritual, but our real need is not to understand the spiritual, or to categorize it, or to explain it-- it is simply to touch it.
